Lisainmo - HEllo there. YOu were up bright and early. Last night I was sitting with Katharine and at the window we saw two little kitties abuot 2 months old peeking in the window. These are from the outside cat who I have fed for years but can't pet her. ANyway, they were so cute. They come out to play at night . Little black and white ones like my Annabelle. So I can imagine what mine will look like soon.

Good morning everyone, I hate to miss a day checking in on your PDA Debbie because I am always so far behind when I do. Hubby had a rain day yesterday so he came home and we went house hunting together. I thought it was going to be easier this time with the just the two of us to think about but I don't think so. Then I had to check into the heart center last night for a 2nd sleep study test and I was beat from running around in the heat but still couldn't sleep good. They told me I have to go back for still another test and then I will be fitted for a cpap machine. wow what an ordeal that whole thing has turned out to be. But I didn't realize how dangerous sleep apena is and how much heart damage it can cause so I am happy to be getting everything figured out.
The pics of the kitties are sew darn cute. I can't wait to get moved so I can have a kitty again.
Your grand girls are just beautiful!! Aren't they just fantastic to spend time with? I am happy that they like to quilt with you and OMGosh hand sew!!! That is awesome.
That quilt is sew cool, did someone figure out the name of the pattern? I would love to do one in black, white and gray. If you find the pattern can you send me a pic of the front of it so I can look for it please.

I did post a picture a few pages back. Interlocking chains. SOunds like you are off to a good start. I love my cpap. SLeep so much better. And it does make a difference on the heart. You need steady air at night. I quit breathing 4 times in a hour and mvoed around a lot. NOw I hardly move at all. I had to go back twice too as I don't sleep long enough for them to get a good test. LOL. I stayed up late and all day so I was ready for it. What were you hunting?

No jiggling Gramma mo, you have a trip to get ready for, you can leave that to Lab55. ROFL. Have a great day. I am getting off to get going myself.

Hi Quilter7x. I posted the kitties just for you. They are growing. Pretty soon they will follow momma out of the basket so they will be moved into the big bathroom. ROFL.

I really love your kittens Deb, thank you so much for posting them for me - and for everyone else!  Their little eyes are so cute and I just love that little tongue hanging out!

My sister got a puppy on Saturday and Beth and I met her last night. She's supposed to be some kind of Australian something dog, but my friend Beth (who used to work in a shelter) says that she's more of a hound mix. She's really beautiful and so tiny. My sister says she weighs only 6 lbs. Oh, I forgot to say that my sister also has a 4 year old Bernese Mountain dog who weighs 100 lbs.  Tucker isn't so thrilled with little Frankie yet, but it's actually payback for him. When he was a baby, he tormented my sister's 3 cats, so this it's funny to watch little Frankie climbing all over monstrous Tucker!

Thought you might like to see a picture of Frankie. She's so cute!
She looks big in the picture, but she's really the size of a cat.

Such a busy day for everyone. Can’t say much cooler for most of the country.
The girls are really patient to do all that hand sewing. They have had such a joyous time with you. As I said these are lasting memories. Katharine is definitely in love with those kitties.
Your new tv in your sewing room is the best. You can be driving your sewing machine at the same time viewing a large track...
You ‘orangish’ quilt is going to be so nice. What is the name of the pattern? ----I see the answer above....thanks
Debbie I also use crystal light but unless you have tried the portability and flavor of the Mio liquid concentrate,................. trust me they are yummy and so much handier that the powder of the crystal light packets for your purse ...........from one who buys Crystal light by the case. Both Mio and C.light are sodium and calorie free.
Have also started making only half strength of crystal light. I think the whole country has been more aware of their fluid intake with these heat waves.

WOW! I had 8 pages to catch up on! Sounds like everyone is keeping busy.
Debbie - I'm so glad your stitches our out, and that you're catching up on your rest. I was surprised at how TALL Haley is! We have a 16 year old girl who quilts with us at church who is actually 6'4" ! Just remind her to be proud of her height and stand up straight! My DGS passed me up this year - it's wierd having them look DOWN at us, isn't it? They grow up SO fast!
SO . . .what' happened to Aunt Patti - has anyone heard from her? Sounds like she was going through a terrible experience with her house being trashed!
I'm going with np3 to a quild sewing group tomorrow and then over to the coast for the night. We have a friend to stay with - and it will be GREAT to escape the heat!

Thank you Debbie. I will look it up.

Giving up the sugar takes time. Trust me I know! I can now drink tea without sugar and even cereal without the added sugar like cheerios. But my coffee has to have sweet n low and I gotta have atleast 1 Dt. Mountain Dew a day. It's amazing as to how much better I feel without all those sweets in me. No candies, no cakes, no ice cream, no chocolate, no chips and the weight is starting to drop.
If I can do it so can you!!

OK Carrie, good pep talk. I'll give it my best shot.

Aunt Patti was still in the hospital as of this morning and after tests they found she did have a small stroke so they ae doing more tests before she is released. Her family is cleaning up the house that her kids destroyed. Apparently she has adopted Aiden from that mom and is looking forward to her home getting cleaned. She was not there when all this took place, but at her brothers.. She sends me pm's to let me know. Sounds like she may have a long road back. Sending her prayers and get well wishes.

Oh my!! lol. I love that quilt - I need to look up that pattern. Sorry about not calling yesterday - we got so busy and it was almost 8pm before I stopped working, then I had to cook dinner, and I thought it was too late to call you since the girls are there.

Good Morning Everyone!! Love the pictures Deb...the GD's are just beautiful and look like they are enjoying the time they are spending with you. I sure wish I could have one of those kittens..OMG they are adorable. Not sure my cat would like them much since I have had him 10 years and he has the run of the house, but I would love to have a little one again. Anywho...have a great day..will pop in later.
