Rather than bother you with all my questions I googled my questions and found a good site with a lot of information so I thought I'd share here on your PDA in case anyone else had similar questions:http://titanium.com/technical-data/what-is-titanium/ I even found a web site that sells wedding rings made out of titanium. It is an interesting metal. I think my sisters hips are made of titanium. I'll have to send her that web site too. Proud mother of a United States Air Force daughter. |

Heat doesn't affect unless too much. I usually wear a hat of some kind in summer becuase of needing sun block. It effects how the blood flows thru my head. YOu'll notice I get dark circles under my eyes after coming in from the heat. Something to do with them pulling my entire face down during surgery. BLood circulation takes time to get back to normal. The reason they have to take belly fat out and inject around the implants is because the forehead plate is "floating" and being held on each side by titanium plates. Filling in with fat gives needed cushioning so I have a more "natural" feel to my head. Medical techniques are just beyond miraculous, I tell you. Mine is so minor compared to some I had surgery with. People in all stages of being rebuilt and such. Here's what I have left in my body that is staying there or needs fixing. ***4 tumors in L1-l4 spine that are causing bulging in my discs and pushing up on spinal canal. Too dangerous to go in unless it becomes an issue. I get injections for pain management. *** Left elbow needs Kawasaki Outerbridge surgery or total replacement. All the cartledge is gone and the bone growing is rubbing bone to bone and has RA in it now. *** Bow lift, Eye Ptosis surgery to correct right eye *** Fat injections in to skull around implants That's about it. Over 20+ surgeries in the last 8 years. Hoping no more after this year. All of my joints like knees, ankles..have bone degeneration but I do ok with it. SOme days I limp, can't get up off the floor without help...and other days I bounce right up. Just something to deal with. ANd I am dealing with it with a positive attitude. I really think if we give in to the illnesses, they win. That what friends are for... http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-47906-585.htm#3704924 Doodles from Deb |

GOing to get a bite to eat before listing. HUGS Kitties all have their eyes opened but she moved them under my recliner so have to dig them out later. I think she moved them because the girls were so loud in her room. We'll see if she moves them back. Remember, buy with care, use your thought process.......will I use it and for what? Hope you avoided the spending monster! |

Np3 I don't think I have said why we are looking for a house but here is a condensed version, we had a 102 year old huge farm house on 180 acres and we lost the house to a fire in 1996, in 1998 we replaced the house with a 2 story 4700 square ft home, (5 bedroom, 4 baths) remember I had 6 kids, well then all the kids left home and the house was too big, but the market had already started to decline, so we rented it out to a Doctor and her family because her hubby wanted to be a hobby farmer and I was working in the city and so was my hubby and spending a forturne on gas. So we rented an apartment in the city (the insurance money paid for most of the new house so we only had a small mortgage payment, the rent payment paid the mortgage and our rent) Fast forward to today and they have really made the farm their own and love it and have no desire to move so they have asked to purchase it. I can't see us ever moving back into a house that size and they are willing to give us what we know the house is worth, not what the market is right now. So now I don't work anymore and hubby is gone alot and I am tired of apartment living so I want a house. (I guess that wasn't really very condensed, sorry). Debbie it is so cool that you let Haley practice driving, I think it is very important that they drive with someone who will teach them and encourage them. Good grannie!!! Just got caught up with this. What a blessing that they want to pay you what it is worth to you. Now that's an exciting way to do house hunting. Hope you find the perfect place with the perfect sewing room! |

I googled all the quilt shops in the area where we went camping and two of them aren't in business anymore, one was a long arm quilter out of her home, but I did find a couple of new ones and went to a couple that I already visited before. Debbie glad you had fun with your grand daughters. Ksea, glad you got your house sold. We want to down size and with Michigan's economy no one is buying in our area. np3, it looks like you had a great time. gmaybee |
