I can't wait until we find just the right one. I hope you take the time to take a nap today if you feel like you need it. Your body has been through alot and now you have taken all it's usgar away and then adding some meds back in, it needs to adjust!!! It is going to be really nasty humid here today, so I am going to shut the windows and door and turn the A/C back on. It was nice to have the apartment open last night!! Have a great day!!! |

AS early as it is I have a story to tell. I took a long shower and when I was ready to get out, I reached up and got my towel and usally open it and throw it on my head and dry my hair. WEll, I picked it up and opened it and brought is close then realized I saw something out of the corner of my one good eye so I held it back and thought, it's a thread. WEll, this thread turned out to be a little scorpion about 1-1/2" long. Whew. I threw it on the floor and called dh and he stomped on it. Now we never saw any here in the last 12 years but lately we have killed many. Must be the heat drawing them in. SO no more waiting, we are calling our exterminator guy to come and spray. Now I am shaking everything before putting it on etc. Even dumping my shoes. LOL. I don't think a sting would kill me but with my immune system down it would not be fun. I wish scorpions and spiders and snakes had missed the boat. Seriously. That what friends are for... http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-47906-585.htm#3704924 Doodles from Deb |

Stay cool and forgot to say that I love the kittens. I really want one... but DH won't let me.... Plus, I know the 2 dogs probably wouldn't like it either. Oh well, a kitten will be my next pet when the time comes. HUGS Thanks, Joanie Granbury, Texas |

I wonder if they are looking for water? The exterminator may have an answer to that as they must have had lots of calls. Do you have to do anything special to the kitties when they come and spray? Don’t want sick little kitties or you and DH. You may have to have a third Java! |

Exterminators let us know about precautions. Even take Duke out of the back yard when they spray it. Cjomomma - take pictures when you meet moonwork. I bet she would think you were cute in your bandana. LOL. I think you're adorable in them. When you smile. ROFL. Well, I updated my topics and checked to see what everyone was saying. NP3 pointed out to me those newsletter I keep deleting actually show hot topics for the QB and we have been in two -three in each one. Arghhhhhhhh something else to watch for now. I have some that get less than 20 but more than get in the hundreds. I am usually careful when I pick a topic and it's something I really think a lot about so glad it is working. I wish scorpions and spiders and snakes had missed the boat. Seriously. Whoa! If you see another one, it's my understanding that the darker they are, the more poison. Has anyone else heard that? Years ago we had some huge black ones - about 3" long - that were brought in from Mexico in some rocks we were making a waterfall out of. One of the guys who got stung, went into seizures and ended up in the hospital. Now, just let me shake off THAT thought! Oh, I almost forgot to say Good Morning! I was thinking about those creepy crawlies! |
