NP3 thanks for the up date I will be checking off and on today and evening for more.

Craftybear I just checked the Sonic's site out and I'll have to drive an hour for one. Never have been to one.

Diet Cherry Limeade and Diet Cherry Cokes. I trade off but always get EXTRA ice.

I just called gaigai, our resident nurse!

She thinks the pressure and extra pain Deb is feeling is probably due to the fact that she hasn't had anything up there for almost two months. So maybe it will just take some time for her to get used to it.

That's all we know for now. I'll be back if I hear anything else!

Stands to reason that things need to shift & make room for the bionic parts. Saying prayers that ICU is keeping her as comfortable & pain-free as possible. (((Hugs for Debbie)))

I would expect that since she hasn't had any bone or steel up there in her forehead for months, that she's going to have to get used to the weight of everything all over again, poor baby! Hopefully they are giving her good drugs! I think we can expect her to be really cranky for a while, but that's ok. It sounds like everything went well. Hooray!!!

Debbie,

I am so happy to hear you are out of surgery and now in ICU.

You obey the nurses and doctors as we all miss you! Take care and can't wait to chat with you again on the phone.

Just talked to Janea (spelling??) - Deb's DD - and Debbie has been sitting up and moving around already - Still in ICU, but Dr's are thinking that she will be moved tomorrow - acutally Janea stated they mentioned about her maybe going home tomorrow, but Deb doesn't want to since she is hurting really bad, - but the dr's said that last time also. So Janea thinks Deb might be in a private room sometime tomorrow. Woohoo!!

Thanks,

Joanie

Nancy, uh I mean Joanieu thanks so much for calling me early this morning to let me know that Debbie was going into surgery, and for calling me with all the updates. We knew she would be O.K because God is with her. I woke up this morning at 2:30 and couldn't go back to sleep. Now I know why, Debbie was up at 2:30! Told you I was that way. Hope your day is going great with the relief of the good news about our dear friend Debbie. TTYL Love You.
