Lou Bates came and brought me a beautiful green plant with pink flowers, not a lot but a few. I will check the name later. I took a picture to put on here in the morning too. And, she must be psychic because she brought me two packages of fresh strawberries and angel food cake and whip cream. Wahoooooooo and glory be.....hit my magic button. While she was here I gave her 6 quilt tops to take for a nursing home she is working with and a completed quilt for her kids programs. Going to start back to guild meetings this coming monday. Lots going on. The BLind Quilter will be there this time. She lives in Texas close. I am having a name fade at the moment. Also, we have a yearly retreat at COmpasse Center and it is usually at the end of august beginning of Sept. I will look it up. I know the cost. Anyway, it incluydes thur-sunday, all meals, LQS inside, snacks, desserts. I had pictures her from last years. Since only some have signed up they appear to have opening for more so they have opened it up for non-guild members. You can look it up at COmpassecenter.org or om me if you want to join us. There are usually 35. Huge place. ANyway, Don't know if I can post amount here so pm me. In the meantime, I will check with Monica and see how many openings we actually have.
