I am checking on our octogenarian neighbors and will run errands for them if needed, be it groceries or just letting them come to cool down at our house (they are a sweet couple)

Ahhhhhhh you are a good neighbor too. The heat is the same here as it gets stifling hot and it hits you right in the face when you walk out. I have to stick my head in front of the ac in the cars to breath. Then I am ok. DH just got his mom back in her house and is sitting here ready to watch some tv. Too hot to be out and he gets so bored.

Hello there. Hope you are staying cool too. I already did the kitchen floor and got her mopped. Vacuumed and dusted, changed the litter, put out fresh food for indoor and outdoor pets, sprayed Duke down with the hose and filled up his pond. Just little things needing to get done.
I'm excited for my mom to see my kitchen. She already got the bill and paid it so she needs to see it too. It was a nice thing for her to do for me. Well, off to do a little more around the house. HUbby's room is next. LOL. Just vacuum and dust, he is a good cleaner.

About that being chilly at 95? Well, we must have had a cold front because we only got to 99 yesterday and about that right now. But it is supposed to be 105 in a few days. AHHHHH SUMMER!!!!

Lisainmo. Just missed you in chat. But glad you popped in here too. I go early in the morning to have stitches out and I am ready but these are worse than the last. Still really sore in 4 places. Not going to be funny. Then off to get mom, go to Winstar, leave there in time to get back home for NP3's party. Not a problem. Timing should work out well. I told her we would go overnight again starting next month with free rooms. TOmorrow is just to give her some fun. She hs waited so patiently. Wonder when she sees me if she'll remember my hair is short? Last time she was shocked. LOL. GOtta love her..I can't wait for her to see my cabinets. Sent my dd pictures and she loves them too, I bet Oma gets a call from her soon. Bless my mom for being there for the grandkids too....all 4 of the big ones and 7 of the great=grands. ♥♥
