First off, I loved the pictures, and I would have been excited to see it myself. Perhaps this other board member meant well, but just has never heard of the word "tact". It's funny because I used to get lectured by my FIL about putting corn out for the squirrels, and seed/water out for the birds. I loved the old fart but he sure got annoying sometimes. In Colorado we are building so much up into the mountains that we've had multitudes of wildlife come down into the neighborhoods. We've stolen their homes and eating areas, so what else are they going to do? I know they will be relocated when possible. Guess I should actually earn my paycheck. I'm going to waddle off to get another cup of coffee and check a couple more PDA's. You all have a wonderful day, okay? Becoming a grandmother is wonderful. One moment you're just a mother. The next you are all-wise and prehistoric.  |

Hey, easy peasy....You come up H377 like going to the Pizza Hut but keep going about 19 miles, take a right go 6 miles, turn rt 1 mile and here I am. You stay on 377 right to my area. I'm between Granbury and Stephenville. Maybe the next gathering can be here. I've got the room and can cook too. We'll see. Granbury is closer for most. I decided to post here just the same and use it for keeping goodies on like patterns and such and things friends send me pictures of. Can't keep two journals going. This one is enough. And it isn't going anywhere. It's copied and protected. LOL. Took a lot of work but a few of us did it and thank you all. I love reading thru it as time passes to see what we were chatting about before. Memories. Gotta love them. So fun to go back and read. Gramma Mo - SO glad you are here. Going to catch up on your PDA also. So glad you started it. Thank you for the newsletter also. I found it in my email. I will read it today. I love to see what other guilds are doing. I LOVE your kitchen tile...it will be so nice for you to work in your brand new kitchen when it is completed. We remodeled ours about 11 years ago and I still think of it as "new" since I had to work in the old one for so long! I still love going in there. And I am so happy that your surgery is behind you and you seem to be recovering so well from it. I cannot imagine the difference between the last surgery and this one...so much more was done this time...a big adjustment to "carrying" all the extra things that they put inside your head this time! Just take it easy...it will take a bit of time but you will be back to doing your normal routine before you know it. Hugs to you and to Annabelle...I am not a cat person but love little kittens! |
