I hope it brings some rain to Sherman! We need it desparately. Just as much as Debbie. It was 110 here today and August is supposed to be hotter and drier. Really, all of Texas and Oklahoma need rain. You could break a leg if you stepped in one of the cracks in the back yard. Horrible.
Large parts of the nation need rain. A few months ago many parts of the nation had too much rain. This has been a strange and terrible year when it comes to the weather. It does make me wonder what we will see this Fall and Winter.

Good morning everyone - well the Tropical Storm is being forcasted to hit south texas around Corpus Christie and not even close to us here around DFW - they are saying it might lower the temps some around here, but no rain for this area - mainly south and maybe up toward Central Texas. Well, they all need the rain also, but gosh everyone does. I agree with NP3 - no telling what the fall and winter will bring us. Up in by Settle where my DS is actually reached close to 70 for the high yesterday - Gosh that sounds so good right now - but of course DH said that would be cold to him now... lol
Debbie glad you are having fun with the girls - and glad we got to talk for a few minutes yesterday. I had a lot to catch up on here. Well, gotta get my rear in gear and get to work. Hope you all have a wonderful day and stay where it is cool. Luv Ya'll

Morning everyone! Debbie must be having a blast with those grandkids, because we haven't heard from her yet today. I'm hoping for some pictures of the grandkids with the furry grandkids. I wonder if their eyes are all open yet?
Nancy, you're so right, such strange weather this year. We had a ton of snow (over 80" total from all the storms), then a very wet spring, but we are not as dry now as some areas of the country are. We've had two heat waves this season with another coming this weekend, which is nothing compared to some Texas areas that have been over 100 every day for a month now.

Have you done some cross stitching? Pictures needed please. You and DH will be back in your routine and in need of a nap. The girls must be keeping the kitties occupied and giving extra love to them.

GOod morning. I am here. Last night I fell asleep at 9 and woke up this morning at 9. Guess I needed the rest. LOL. I feel so tied still but only up a while. I do that once in a while. Mom was here and then the girls, my sale, shipping, Holly here with her cousin, etc. Just plopped. LOL.
I am sorry to hear the rain may not get to us. There haven't even been hurrincanes like usualy. I am wondering just how much of the Warming syndrome is coming to be. Scarey to me.
I have read everything and caught up on my own PDA. SO funny.

Lisainmo - Dancing is fun but it's till excercise. LOL. Like to hear more about the machine applique. Something I have just never tried but will. I take that back, I did one for the Kill Sun Bonnet Sue blocks last month. SO we can learn as we go. GOod luck and post what you do here. WE love to see new things.
Cjommomma - sorry she had to cancel. Hope you make more arrangements to meet again. She sounds fun from dealing with her. Have your camera ready. Are you wearing a bandana?? Ksea - I will get some excercise games and see. I love to sing and dance so it might be fun for me. I could use it to to build me up again. Everything I do right now just drains me. I know...time will heal. I forget it's only been a short time.
