Good Morning Sweetie! I just had a dream about you! I dreamed I was sitting here at my computer and you came up behind me and leaned down and gave me a hug, and I put my arm up and back to hug you back. Your cheek and part of your head were next to mine and I could feel the short hair and stubblies against my cheek. It was SO real!!

So, anyhow, here's your hug back!! 000000000xx

Anyway, so this morning I am awake until 4am, finally go to sleep and get up at 9. Then dh wants to go to town to pick up his meds so I ask him to take me by Project Linus in Ft. Worth so we take a road trip. I take in my things for the month and visit. It was so nice. Everyone gave me hugs. Then came home, stopped to eat at Ribshack and then home. It was so hot out there I don't know how anyone gets out in it.

So on the way home. mind you the sun is so shiney your eyes are adjusted to bright lights, then something rubs my ankle and I look down and OMG a qtr size round brown fuzzy spider is there. I kick it off wtih my left shoe, canot see it, in he mean time, both of my legs are up in the seat with me, I am looking so hard to see if I got it, and no sight of it. So dhs till continues to drive and says it could have been a small tarantula, well, that did it, I am telling him to pull over quick, and not quietly.....when I take another look adn just as the spider ran up the back of the floorboard under the dash, there he is, my right foot shoots out and BAM.....smushed critter. Anther one bites the dust. My heart was beating so fast, feet still in seat with the rest of me and I start to relax. What a trip. So now I know spiders can be in my car???? He is at this time spraying it for me and will air it out and I will put in my freshener soon. OMG. REally, no free rides here. This heat is driving all kinds of critters to my yard and house and cars. We need rain!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Poor Deb!! Glad you squished the nasty critter. But I had to crack up at the thought of you yelling at Tony to STOP THE CAR! PULL OVER! THERE'S A BIG SPIDER IN HERE!! It's a wonder he didn't swerve all over the road! ROFLMAO!!

And no, your head doesn't look like Dot's butt. Not enough spots, and your stitches are sharper!

Okay, I guess now once you get better - you need to come over here - just what I need is to be driving down 377 and a big spider is in the car with me... Not a funny site.... , you, Gramma Mo and NP3 thought I was crazy when that big bee, wasp, whatever was in my van when I was coming to your place to help load up the stuff for the retreat, just think what a spider would do to me. lol - I am glad you got it - Poor Tony though, if it was anything like that time when we thought there was a spider on the computer desk - okay, now I am roflmao!!!!

Sorry that I haven't been on here - we actually got busy today... I will call you later on after work LUV YA - hope everyone has a wonderful rest of the day

Thanks,

You mean you got spider guts in Tony's new truck !
He will have to spend the evening, when it cools down, to clean it up.
I know it is not funny, but I can just picture this happening. LMAO !!

Nope I was in my own car. Cute Spider car Scrap Happy.

Ok so when I told the story here I changed up my language a little. Spiders and I don't get along. Never been bitten but they are just creepy. Like snakes and scorpions. Ewwwwwwww.

One of my Granbury Guild members is on the way here to bring me something from the guild since I am home. Last month I asked them to wait since I was having another surgery, this time I told her to come over. She is so sweet. Over the Sunshine and flowers guild and does Habitat for Humanity quilts for familys I am going to start going to her home again on mondays for Bee. She provides everything to make quilts for Habitat. I have been at 4 retreats with her and I learn from her every time.

Joanieu....so glad you got giggles over my spider attack. I was in harm's way I tell you. If I had not found it finally, just think how hot it would have been on the side of I-20.
Back soon.

No spiders is right. No wonder DH didn't run off the road. Can you imagine if you had been driving?
When you didn't pop in to say good morning I figured you were on the road and having some fun.
How was the Linus group. Were they working on projects. You must have had some stories to tell them about your surgery. Did you get a list of people who want a kitten...........
So happy that you had a good day.
Have to ask if you got yourself a Sonic?????

200 - 4 x 5 multi colored fabric with dots....
100 - 4 x 4 red background fabric with any color dots....

She says she has batik, florals and geometric fabs to trade with and more. So please get in touch with her and maybe ya'll can work out a swap. I'm sure she will post here to let us know when she gets enough.

Debbie, does she need it cut to these measurements or just send the fabric pieces ?
I have some , just wondered about the sizes.

Lab - send Isnthatodd a pm. She will tell you. That way you can trade with her too. I am sending fabric and letting her have the fun of cutting it. LOL. No , seriously, since she needs specific amounts and wants all different dots, then only a pc according to measurements needed. She's on here too.

I also have a thing about spiders, and since there's no way I could get my feet on the seat, I'm not sure what I would have done. Glad you were able to send it off to spider heaven (or wherever they go).
