Quiltykitty, if you are in Sherman, next time I go to Choctaw casino I may call you to meet a while. I go thru there up Hwy 82. Sending you a pm also.
Lab55 - you are always on the move. Stay cool in this heat. See you when you land. LOL
Quilter7x- We ar getting lower temps but still in the hundreds. This week we have some around 100 so may not hit it. Badly needing the rain. When you drive you see little burn areas where it looks like people have thrown out ciggies from the cars. SOme people have no sense.
It has been fun having the girls here but they occupy themselves. They are hand sewing on a small quilt we put together for them, no crossstitching yet. WIll take pictures today. And check the kitties. Eyes are almost all open. SOme totally, some one, so cute.

Joanieu - AS usual our talks are nice. And you notice we are always laughing. It's good. I have August written down for you time off so we can play. I think store window shopping at the local LQS's sounds fun. Maybe a trip to Mckinney to deliver Olga's quilt and meet her. We'll see. I will have it finished before then. Have a great day at work. Nice to work in your own upstairs then go downstairs to go home. So funny.

Katharine sewing her charm pack by hand
Haley sewing her jelly roll strips by hand..her first. She was supposed to be using all 30's but I see she snuck some batik in. Oh well.
Haley is 15 and already taller than me. When she drives with the seat all the way back, her legs are still too long. She will have to adjust like her daddy who is 6'8".

Debbie, if you go to McKinney then you should stop at Fabric Fanatics in Plano. I love that shop. All batiks and blenders. And of course there are two quilt shops in McKinney. If we met in Gainesville we could have fun at Past Times quilt shop.
The kittens are cute and the girls are beautiful. Like the charm pack.

OK so tonight is going well. Girls are fed and sewing, hubby is watching tv in the living room. I am in my sewing room on the board.
So glad to hear NP3's mom has a small crack in her hip but back in her room. That was scarey. Hope she updates us soon on her PDA.
Isnthatodd, so glad you are getting to go to Idaho for a visit with family. See you when you get back. Glad you are coming to the next retreat. I need to get it posted soon. After the girls go home.
Still looks like the rain off Don the storm will miss us but hoping he will change course to hit more of Texas than just in the south.

We go thru Gainsville going to Winstar casino. Please pm me your phone number so I can call you when we come up that way. I can take him to the casino and then come back to visit with you. Then aain, Joanieu has a week off in August second week, and we could make that drive just to see the shop and visit and meet you. I'll let you know. Get the dates from her. I think QUilting Asylum is in Mckinney too. Road trip coming up.....
I am not going to the Las Cruces retreat this year, just not in the cards to go. SO sad I will miss them but it is my guild so I can see them at meetings. I am determined to go to Compasse Centre in end of August. They have fabrics. LOL

I have five granddaughters and 4 grandsons.
Here's the list
these three are from a joined family
Josie is 17
Haley is 15
Michael Dawne is 12
Then Katharine is 12, mason is 14 as of the 23rd. then Jaden is 4, Craig is 3, Tysse is 2 and Kegan is 6 months.(girl).
So from little to 17. The three girls live in Amarillo with mom but Hayley will be here with dd soon. She wants to be here with ehr dad a while. Think she wants the stability of a home and family and no moving around so much.

Another orangish colored quilt that my mom wants. I started handquilting it and then she took another one and now we are switching again.

OK so a little blurry. I couldn't tell until it was on here. My vision is so blurry right now. Not really bad but feels like I need to wear glasses all the time instead of my reading ones. Might have to get glasses after the procedure to do the brow lift and pytosis lift. Seriously, wanted to put them off but won't. But you can see what it look like. More orange and rust than it shows. Needed more light too.
