I will be in here and watch her. Now that I know, I will probably sleep lighter too and when she gets up, Watch her. I covered my bed with a protector and then a nice disposable sheet. She is on it and not in the basket but the basket in on my bed on the other side so she can go in there. She has been laying in it when I come by her lately so she knows its for her. Probably nothing tonight though. I am quilting in my room and watching tv. Thought I'd drop in to check. Sunday nights are usually slow with everyone getting ready to start the new week. It's almost 10 here so going to read the board a while, then quilt more. Resting my fingers. It's been a few weeks since I hand quilted so having to build up my fingers again to toughen them up. WIsh I had learned with a thimble. Can't use them. I am using the finger covers I rec'd. So the first one was awful, she looked at me and let out a wail and was running around in circles and she even tried to bite me. Not funny. But out comes number 1. The rest is history. One every 45 minutes or so. At 4:45 she had #4. I fell asleep waiting for her to make another noise so I could help again. Then a little bit ago, out came #5. SO we have 5 as I predicted......oh wait,,,,,still could be more. But here's the first picture. OK From the far rt, Kitty #3 has white band , #2 smaller striped and gray, #1 striped, #4 black with white feet, and right under her nose she is cleaning #5 less than a few minutes old which seems to be black with white feet also. He is a stray barn cat. Big fella. SO we'll see how many more but I am hoping she stops. The first 4 have found their teet already and hang on for dear life when another comes. LOL. Back soon. I am going to sit with her a while longer. Then I showed her to clean and such, the second she was on her own, and then each one she was better. I am proud of her. They are dry and resting now. SHe sleeps in between. The first one would have been youtube quality....OMG what is that? She looked at me like Wow, that hurt. I hope she is done. I also hope dh wakes up soon and gets me coffee. 3 hours sleep so I feel an early afternoon nap coming on. And taadahhhhhhhhh.....she had them in the basket and is in there now. SO glad...... It's in my room in a corner. I had to put her in the corner by my bed where she could see me because she kept jumping on the bed and finding me, then would jump down to the babies. SO, once I moved her, she stayed put. They fit in my palm and yes, they already know Grammie. I've been petting all night. LOL. Now the door is open to the bedroom so she can go down the hall to eat and drink, etc. Let's hope she doesn't move them. So many places to hide. I am thinking she won't since we are so close. DH will be up soon, he has no idea we gave birth last night. LOL. Ksea - guess she did wait for me. So far, the wonderful tiny meows and suckling sounds are so nice. I mother nature. LOL. And when Annabelle rests, I can hear her motor running as she is wrapped around them so protectively. ANother event almost over....hopefully over. Her belly is a lot smaller and soft but I cannot tell. Back soon, going to make my own coffee. LOL.
