Got this morning thinking it was Monday and got DD to work late. She over slept! She only works on Sunday's in a church nursery. Hope everyone has a wonderful Sunday! Oh Debbie isn't it wonderful that they can use Botox to smooth everything out? I've never had to use it just cause when your fat you don't need it. LOL! |

I am thinking I am not vain so if it will be covered when my hair in front returns, not worrying about it. Botox is not cheap. Gosh darn it. Oh well, I used to tell people when I got a wrinkle, poof. I would just grow into it. LOL. It's a beautiful day and I went out a bit ago to help dh replant some things in back to the front where there is more shade and water close to water. SO many things in the back are nbot getting good water> It is so hot this year. So when he was digging a few places for me to put some plants, up popped a copperhead from my green ivy there and off went his head. LOL. SO glad hubby is fast. He just aimed and sliced with his big shovel. Ewwwwwwwwww. I was leary after that but we got things planted. Also planted the 4 iris' that olgaquilts sent me. Will take pictures soon. I haven't been outside much but am going out again to finish up. Back in a few. He had to get the snake totally off my property before I could walk close to him again. I would take a picture of that critter but ewwwwwwwww. But I did take a few earlier. Let me put them on here. This is DH's little garden. Purple jew, MOnkey grass. He's sitting there working on his weedeater. (Edit Description) (Delete) Ok these plant are 7-sisters transplanted here from the Louisiana lake house. They are usually about 3 ft and with 7 flowers on each leaf. Too hot. SO moving these here. Have about 40 more. See the wall...see the ivy....what you don't see is that copperhead we killed. Nice cool place for him. (Edit Description) (Delete) Olgaquitls sent me 4 of her colorful iris. I planted them at the base of this stump next to my purple cananns which are also usually 6 ft tall by now. Adding color around that area. WIll keep taking them as they grow. Thank you Olga. ♥♥YOu can see the water sprinkler on the left. Trying to save my gardens. Now that I am able to be outside in the mornings. (Edit Description) (Delete) This is actually the original well that was working on this old 1908 house. We kept it for nostalgia and have some yuccas around it. In the spring there are flowers I put inside to be pretty. (Edit Description) (Delete) This is fromt eh Granbury GUild for me after my surgery. SO pretty but they have to be in the house with light sun. SO just getting them some sun. Just a small pond size hole to finish. Too hot to work with concrete. ROFL monkey grass is an awesome ground cover and grows so nicely when watered. These plants wer actuall moved here with us twelve years ago from our lakehouse in Granbury. They were there 3 years. Had them all along our stoned sea wall by the boat dock. So we brought some with us. YOu can't kill them really. No I'm not obsessed with monkeys. ROFL. This was way before I came here. I just like that saying. Final seal on counters next weekend when he has time to come, he works full time, we get him in between jobs. It's so pretty just like it is but I am looking forward to the sealant. The iris' are four colors. SHe had pictures and they were so pretty, I commented and then they came in the mail. I'll have to ask her. I forget. Olgaquilts doesn't come in here too often. I'll ask. Makes me want to get out & do fiddling some in mine. I am grateful that even though we have the hot temps we do still have plenty of water, especially this year. I think we got some of your much needed rain. Sorry - would send some over if I could. I posted a couple of pictures from my party on my PDA. |
