Hi Debbie! I know you aren't around, and that you had your stitches removed today, but I just wanted to say howdy! I hope you are feeling okay after the removal, and that it wasn't too awfully painful. Thanks for the notes you put on my PDA. I can tell you that it sure is much more comfortable in the house today than it was for the last three days! But get this: we now have a thunderstorm warning!! Wouldn't that just be the PERFECT thing for the power to go out AGAIN???!!!!!! We heard on the noon news that 900 people in our city are still without power. Poor things.

I have company coming for a BBQ in a bit. It's for my DH and our 13 years old DGS. They both have the same birthday I've been busy all day getting ready and my DD is on her way with a Sonic for us! Have a good evening - if I"m not at np3s party, I'll be celebrating here

I am home form Oklahoma in time for the party and I see NP3 will be AWOL for a bit. I'll be there until she gets there too.
Well, things did not go well today, not bad but I did not get my stitches out. He took one look and said , not yet. The swelling kept it from sealing right away so I go back monday and see again. He thinks few more days with antibiotics on it. So....I still have the stitches. Oh well.
Second, in three weeks, give or take, I go back to the hospital for a short procedure where they take fat from my belly and inject in into my head around the new bionics to cushion them once the swelling goes down. Go to sleep a few minutes, wake up and then home. SO no overnight stay. I told him I knew my fat would come in handy one day. ROFL.
Then I am referred to Dr. Itani who is my eye specialist who will do yet another procedure in the hospital and my right eye needs to be lifted and brow lift for my double vision to go away again. This last surgery, caused it to drop. So....that's two procedures to do within the next few months. Oh well. Those will be in and outs.
Blood pressure is still too high, sending me to cardiologist to check things out and see what's up. Nothing I am sure. Need to drink more water and less salts and sodium so I am going to switch my drinks to caffeine free and no sodium like the ones Gramma Mo drinks.
I am thinking as time goes on I will be back to normal on my own. I'm just over two weeks out from last surgery. Time will heal.
Went to Oklahoma with mom, we all had fun, was there from 10-4 and came home. Had to get back in time for NP3's party. Ironic that she will be late. ROFL. Mom is here and laying on the couch watching tv with dh. No one won today ut we didn't lose much either. But is was fun. Ran into my sister's best friend and her hubby there.
So in a while I am going to NP3's cyber party. Have to get my votes in too. Did she list the categories? Hymmm. I'll figure it out. So that about catches me up. Babies are fine, momma kitty is having her supper and Bella too. They met me at the door.

Happy that Mom is with you. You really had a good family day and fun.
One thing you said was really important IMHO. That is that you had you surgery just little over two weeks. It's one of those moment is the glass half full or half empty. No stitches out today was a disappointment and then with a little list of more procedures I'm sure just tarnished your mood a little............You will flying in a few with your happy spirit and party mood.

I'm ok with it, but you can imagine my face drained when he mentioned two more procedures. But it's down the road. And did I say I have a retreat August 17-20 and again end of August? Someone is always trying to rain on my retreats. LOL. OK so we need the rain. Oh well, health first. Iam over at NP3's. The ladies are there early. Oh my.♥♥
My mom loved the kitchen and the kitties. She wants to stay her thru sunday. So tomorrow we start enjoying the company. Tonight she is tired and will watch tv with us. I am in the living room on the laptop she bought me. Wanted her to see me using it and loving it. Back soon♥♥
I rec'd my KSBS blocks today in the mail so hopefully the one's in Kwhite's PDA will post pictures of theirs too. I will be a little busy for a while. They are all great. We all have a morbid sense of humor. Need I say more??

Thanks for dropping in. Hope you read my update. Still have stitches. But he did say it was looking good. Told me to take it easy, I am doing good but expecting to recover too quickly. So I obey....HUGS♥♥

Good Morning Debbie. I’m sorry that the stitches didn’t come out and there are more procedures. But at least these surgeries are out patient and you won’t spend the night in the hospital for them.
